Inactive Contractor Account

Inactive contractor accounts can be manually activated by sending an email to elmssupport@faa.gov or opening a live chat request with the eLMS and Blackboard Help Desk.

Inactive contractor accounts are a result of an inactive Outlook Web Access (OWA) password, or a missing attribute in MyProfile that designates you as a contractor.   Please ensure that your OWA password is reset today in order to avoid deactivating your eLMS account again.

If you do have an active OWA password, then you need to ensure that CTR is listed in your Initials field in MyProfile.  Have MyIT open a Remedy ticket and direct it to Directory Services.

Please contact the IT help desk number or email below and ask them to reset your OWA password, or to direct your issue to Directory Accounts and request that CTR be placed in your Initials filed.

If they are unable to resolve the problem, please contact the eLMS and Blackboard Help Desk.

IMPORTANT: Once your email account is reactivated, mandatory Training for contractors will be assigned automatically overnight.  Please allow 24 hours after your eLMS account is activated for training to appear on your To-Do list. Please do not assign the training to yourself or have an admin assign it to you.  For example, if you reset your FAA webmail password on Monday, your eLMS account will go active on Tuesday morning, and your mandatory training will appear on Wednesday morning.are a result of an inactive Outlook Web Access (OWA) password, or a missing attribute in MyProfile that designates you as a contractor.   Please ensure that your OWA password is reset today in order to avoid deactivating your eLMS account again.
